I am currently dealing with a very difficult situation with Kraken involving frozen cryptocurrency funds following a proof of funds / source of wealth review connected to an account dispute.

The issue began several months ago after a large wallet transfer and an incoming OTC-related transaction triggered additional compliance checks. Since then, the account has remained effectively restricted despite submitting several rounds of documentation, including exchange records, transaction histories, bank statements, tax information, wallet screenshots, and detailed explanations regarding the origin of the funds.

What makes this more complicated is that the matter now appears to involve both blockchain tracing questions and legal/regulatory considerations relating to AML compliance and proof of funds verification. Responses from Kraken support have become increasingly standardised, and resolving the issue through normal support channels has felt extremely difficult.

I have been researching firms that deal with both blockchain forensics and cryptocurrency-related legal work, but there seem to be very few that genuinely cover both areas together. Most either provide general legal advice without forensic capability or offer blockchain analysis without the legal side.

One firm that kept appearing during my research was Crypto Legal UK. Based on what I have seen, they appear to focus on cryptocurrency disputes, frozen exchange accounts, blockchain tracing, AML/proof of funds matters, and forensic reporting.

Has anyone had direct experience working with them, particularly in matters involving Kraken or other exchanges, frozen account balances, or compliance-related disputes? Were they technically competent and genuinely effective in handling the matter, or would you recommend another firm that may be better suited for this type of situation?

Any genuine experiences or recommendations would be appreciated, as the situation has become increasingly stressful and complex.
