About to start Prozac, mostly looking to target my social anxiety. I tried Zoloft and it didn’t work.
Does anyone else take Prozac for social anxiety & can you explain what it felt like once it started working ?? Need some hope tbh
I’m really trying to target my social anxiety. Zoloft didn’t give me any improvement so my psych told me I can switch to Prozac. Never switched meds before so I’m a little anxious about the process. But I’m excited to see if Prozac helps or not.
I also have depression, I take Wellbutrin and it’s helped me a lot. But I mean, if Prozac helped even more I wouldn’t be mad at that 👀

I just wanna say Zoloft has helped several people and I think everyone should try it for themselves, but I unfortunately don’t have a success story (yet) and just wanted to talk about it & hear other people’s stories about switching.
I started about 11-12 weeks ago, got up to 100mg and never experienced any improvement. It just hasn’t helped me. I know these things take time, but at this point I should have noticed at least something small. It hasn’t really done anything bad either, which is nice.
I’m really trying to target my social anxiety.
I go to the grocery store and cry on my way home because I feel so awkward and weird sometimes, I avoid hanging out with people out of fear of not knowing what to talk about, and then not truly representing myself because I got anxious and nervous, I also struggle to just exist in the moment and have natural reactions because I’m so nervous and over analyzing myself. Etc. It’s just bad.
I take Wellbutrin for depression, and it’s helped a lot, but I still struggle with it and wouldn’t mind if an extra med helped my depression too. It’s just not my main goal rn. If anything, I feel like once I alleviate my social anxiety, my depression would improve on its own.
Anyway, I’ve never switched medications before so this is a new experience for me. I don’t know anything about Prozac yet but of course I’m going to do a whole bunch of research now.
If you have any tips or success stories with Prozac, I’d love to hear !!
Hello , I take my medication at night, and ever since I’ve increased to 100mg, waking up has felt nearly impossible. I don’t feel well rested at all, and im so drowsy for the first few hours of waking up.
Unfortunately, it’s been abt 2 months and Zoloft hasn’t seemed to help me so im gonna tell my psych i wanna try something new when i see her next. It didn’t do anything bad either !! Other than the difficultly waking up that started recently.. I’d love to hear anyone else’s experience going off of Zoloft !
My dream job is to be an influencer. I know, a little cringe to say. But I think recording things & editing it is so fun. But, I am always too scared or too insecure to get started. I’m most likely gonna go to school to get a degree in elementary education because I think teaching kids would be really fulfilling, and a good creative outlet too. I love children and would take a lot of pride in being a safe space for them. But I haven’t committed to that plan yet because I want to weigh my options, and see if I could find something that I would enjoy and makes good money. I considered being a sonographer because it’s decent pay and relatively easy to achieve. But it’s not my passion what so ever. I love writing, I love art and theatrics. If I could be an influencer and actually make good money off of it, that would be my dream. Maybe get into other projects like acting or something else creative. I just don’t know.

taurus - love love love any taurus placement. i’ve noticed these people are creatures of habit , they stick to what they know. enjoy food! reliable to the ones they care for. can enjoy simple hangouts , my taurus moon friend and I usually just grab something to eat, sit in the parking lot and watch tik toks together in my car 😭 i also dated a taurus moon and we stayed in watching movies a lot.
gemini - such chaotic, funny people! mental connection is probably really important to them
cancer - I’ve had two conflicting experiences with cancer moons. One of them is so evil 😭 and I don’t blame that on her astrology, but I think her personality combined with her cancer moons made her a very emotionally manipulative person. She even admitted to crying to make people feel bad… also was very parasitic towards her mom. On the other hand, the second cancer moon I’ve known is one my favorite people ever. She’s very emotionally intuitive, she feels things so deeply, she expresses her feelings, just such an emotionally intelligent person. Her family & friends mean so much to her. She is so easy to open up to, and she has strong ties to the moon (her rising is also cancer)
leo - the type to mope around when sad LMAO , they add drama to their emotions , some i’ve known were pity seekers . it’s not always a bad thing, they just want recognition for the way they feel. and they need to express how they feel, which can be a great thing when they are passionate abt something!
virgo - soooooo critical towards themselves !!! the one i knew was very hard working and paid attention to the little things
libra - i don’t think ive met a libra moon actually !
scorpio - i only know 1, and it’s my dad haha and then he’s got a cap stellium too so he’s never been the type to express his feelings but i know he feels deeply . not sure why they get a bad rep but again, ive only known one
sag - haven’t known a sag moon either !
cap - super loyal to the ones they love, very dependable people. they feel like their emotions are their responsibility to take care of, which is why they hate opening up about hard things. they might drop some emotional lore and say it in a dry, humorous way. base a lot of their self worth on what they contribute. and want to turn their emotions into something productive. i will not participate in any capricorn moon slander !!
Aquarius - so funny ! the funniest people I’ve known were Aquarius moons. A bit eccentric. Probably have an interest they nerd out about , or love ppl who do. They might have a logical way of seeing emotions, but they’re not emotionally cold ! They just don’t get swept up by things that don’t make sense to them. All the aquarius moons I’ve known were very expressive with how much they love the people in their life. My roommate has an aquarius moon & he will drop the most depressing lore like it’s nothing 😭 and then we’ll look at each other and laugh because of how bad it is. So they can be “detached” in that way lol
Pisces - i understand the bad rep they have… I have some evil experiences with Pisces moons… EVIL experiences. However, I still love this placement so much. And it really does depend on the person. If someone is a developed Pisces moon, then you’ve got a dreamy, romantic, deep feeling, creator. If it’s an underdeveloped Pisces moon, you got a victim mentality manipulator. They can definitely get swept up in their fantasies so they need ppl who ground them. Pisces moon adds such a softness to a person, i love it.
