So I’ve been experimenting with a 30w laser and brass 1mm thick blanks, engraving at depth, then airbrushing and the sanding to expose the higher level brass. The results are, well, ok….. the question I have is the black spray tends to go more grey with sanding (wet or dry), I’m being as careful as I can, is there a better way of doing this? I love the black and brass combo, but the black needs to be deep black! Any advice appreciated, some samples attached! The first two show how grey it really gets!
