Can someone help me with some info on cat food?

So as title states. I need some help from my fellow kitty owners. I just adopted two of them, both born Jan 15th so they are about 4 months old - and ive noticed they are supper fussy with their food. They LOVE their wet food, Whiskas with gravy to be exact, but they are super fussy with the dry food, I've managed to get them off the whiskas pellets as I've heard they use too much grain or fillers, to be honest its the most affordable food, but I shudder to think of my cat eating corn flakes that look like meat....I've since managed to get them onto Montego Karoo, which isnt too expensive, definitely cheaper than the stuff everyone else on reddit reccomends... Hills science plan is R535 for a 2kg!!!!! That is madness!

However, Im just curious to hear, what have you guys used for your cats and why? Hills, Royal Canin, Ultrapet (couldn't find any whilst I was searching), Catmor, Montego. Whiskas.

Thanks in advance. Just wanna give them the best possible protein and meat based diet I can while we grow up together. I dont wanna potentially risk the cats health by giving cheap quality and bad food.
