If the UK version had a celebrity in the civilian version, how would you react?
I know the everyone likes they the UK version casts everyday people in the civilian version, and I'm not suggesting that they put a huge name celebrity that everyone would instantly know, like a Helen Mirren or Stephen Fry in a cast of everyday people, but if producers decide to cast a famous person in the season because they would be interesting to the story and legitimately want to play, would you be okay with that? Or is that too much?
I was thinking about Survivor having had Lisa Whelchel (TV star in the 80s), Mike White (director/producer/writer), and several retired athletes on the show. They often hide their identity as a famous person in order to not get targeted and it's not revealed by production, unless they or another contestant brings it up. In the case of Lisa Whelchel on Survivor Philippines, the younger contestants were too young to even know who she was, and >!it wasn't revealed to the group until it was final jury at the end of the game.!<
If that was the case, would you be okay with it?
