Do you think it’s worth disenchanting the Signature card?

I absolutely love Vanessa’s Signature artwork, but I also have the Golden version. With the recent nerf, I’m not sure how useful she’ll be anymore, so I’m wondering if it’s better to dust the Signature while it’s still eligible for a full refund

Arena / Pre-release rewards are terrible

I just finished a 6-win Pre-release run, and the rewards were 4 packs (400 gold worth), one common card (5 dust), and one rare card (20 dust).

My point is that it costs 2 Tavern Tickets (300 gold) just to enter a Pre-release run. If you manage to get all 6 wins—which can easily take over an hour—the only real profit is one extra pack and 25 dust.

I’m not saying they should give out a Legendary for getting 6 wins, but at least make it feel worthwhile. Give us an Epic, an extra pack, or something. But a common card as a reward for a perfect run? That just feels bad.

Arena isn’t much better. Don’t get me wrong—I think Arena is one of the most fun modes in Hearthstone. If I had unlimited gold, I’d probably play Arena almost exclusively. But the rewards there don’t really feel worth it either. I think Blizzard could do a much better job of making both modes more rewarding.

And while I’m at it, I also think Tavern Brawl could use some improvements. The free pack is nice, but let’s be honest: most people play one game, claim the pack, and don’t touch the mode again until the following week. I think it could be made a lot more engaging and competitive so people actually want to keep playing.

Pre-release Tavern

If you happened to get Chef Neth’rek as your Legendary, I’d recommend trying a deck with these two cards. I went 6-1 on my first run (and my deck could definitely have been better).

Just try to include as many 2-cost cards as possible.

Also, it’s incredibly satisfying to deal 20 damage to the enemy hero with a 3-mana card

Best pack I’ve ever opened

I got knocked out of Arena in Stage 4 after taking both losses right at the end, but the game made up for it with this pack

Help with questions about medical bills

Okay, I’m not looking to be judged; I just want to understand how some things work.

Here’s my situation: I recently had surgery for appendicitis in Miami, Florida. The thing is, I’ve always had health insurance, but this year I canceled it. I was tired of paying $350 a month and, over the past five years, I had barely used it. I’m young and generally very healthy.

The issue is that I had to go to the emergency room, and although I haven’t received the bill yet, I know it will probably be over $30,000.

I mentioned something at work: when I arrived at the ER, my mother was the one who took me there. I didn’t provide my driver’s license, any other identification, or even my Social Security number. I only gave them my name and my mother’s address (which is not where I live).

When I returned to work and told my coworkers what happened, one of them said something similar happened to him when he lived in New York. According to him, he never paid the bill because the hospital only had his name, and they couldn’t connect the debt to him personally.

My question is: how realistic is that? Is it possible that because they only have my name and an address where I don’t actually live, they won’t be able to assign the debt to me?

I don’t want to damage my credit or anything like that, but I also don’t want to pay more than $30,000 for a medical bill.

Any advice or explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I’m “new” again

I came back to the game after about 10 years (I remember I quit around the time Wild mode was introduced and Secret Paladin was a popular deck). The purpose of this post is for you guys to tell me what I should know about the game nowadays.

I recently discovered that cards apparently have some kind of duplicate protection where you can’t open a duplicate unless you already own every card of that rarity. Is there anything else I should know?

What’s worth spending gold on? Packs or Arena? Or is it better to spend it on class sets?

Do people actually play Wild mode? Or is the community mainly focused on Standard?

Also, when you’re in Legend, is the rank number shown to the player your worldwide position? Or is it separated by server?”
