I got hired to babysit this family with 6 kids. I have been with them for a while. I get called over for an overnight shift. Pretty much everytime I have came, the parents have already left. Half the kids are over the age of 14, but they have two little ones (3, 5). Am I in the wrong for stepping outside for 5 minutes for a cigarette (off there property and not around any kids)? Should I be around every second to watch the kids, or am I allowed to have a few minutes for myself? I made sure the kids had eaten and were set up in front of the TV before I left.
