NEED HELP with R&R timing -- KJD
hi everyone, I am a graduating senior and was just waitlisted p much across the board-- about 10 waitlists (yay ..) . im kind of debating riding out the waitlists all summer, but i also have no full-time job yet. am i supposed to start a full time job over this summer? what if a school gives me a WL --> A like two weeks into my new full time job and i'll have to resign?
on the other hand, if i don't get into any school off a waitlist, I need to R&R and plan to do that IMMEDIATELY as soon as apps open bc one of my flaws this time around was submitting too late. but if i wait all summer without a job, i won't have any new work experience to report on my new app, and then i'll pretty much just be a kjd again. i could look for something like a fellowship or one year internship, but i dont' think that counts as the WE that i need to boost my app so im frankly not sure.
how do i deal with this timing? either start a job and then have to quit, or wait the waitlists out with only my part time job and then have no work experience for my new app? is there a way to navigate this? other kjds considering to R&R please help, and older applicants too! thank you all!
