Unsure of options/process
So I’ve been on tirzepatide since March and it’s been great. Truly life changing even after just a couple of months. I’ve been getting it from a pharmacy my doctor is set up with. However, it’s getting a bit expensive and just not feasible for me in the long run. It started at $290 for my first dose of 2.5mg and as your dose goes up, so does the price. So right now I’m on 5mg, and it was about $320 for one month.
After seeing all the great reviews about Trillium and the cost options, it was kind of a no brainer for me to switch and give them a try!
I just paid for my order a few hours ago and already received approval for my prescription and updated that it’s now processing at the pharmacy. Very quick, very easy!
I opted for the 1 month supply and sticking with 5mg for one more month before I move up and give the 7.5 a try.
Right now I see I’m paying month to month - I received a text that says “Your treatment for Tirzepatide 6 Month Maintenance (Monthly) is now active”
What I’m wondering is, after doing this next additional month at 5mg, is it a simple process to switch the following month after that to go up to the next dose at 7.5? And if it turns out I like the 7.5 dose, can I then purchase the 3 month supply at that dose? I saw something about the 3 month supply only being a starter, but wasn’t sure.
