internships for high school students

hey I’m a high school student looking for internships or work experience related to Computer Science, Software Engineering, or AI, but I’m having a really hard time finding opportunities that accept high school students everything I find is only open to university students

I’m planning to pursue CS at university and I already study IT at school. I’m also a fast learner and have a pretty well-rounded CV with experience in different areas, but I’m missing that one thing I really need for my uni profile actual CS/AI experience

Right now, I know HTML and have some experience with AI/vibe coding, and I’m planning to start learning Python and Java soon. I’m definitely willing to learn whatever is needed and I’m mainly looking for an opportunity where I can actually contribute and learn unpaid and any duration

If anyone knows of companies, startups, programs, remote opportunities, or internships that accept high school students, I’d genuinely appreciate it thank you!

a level students at ie

is it possible to make an exception

im confused too cuz the website says

Legal Access Requirements: Accreditation of at least five subjects from the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) with grades A, B or C (or 4 to 9), and at least two* Advanced Level (AL) subjects from the International/General Certificate of Education (I/GCE) with grades A to E.

but then says *Please note: although only two AL subjects are legally required, IE University expects at least three.

My situation is that I may only be able to take 2 full A Levels because of an issue with my school’s A2 subject availability. If I were to get 2 A* grades, along with already strong igcse results and extracurriculars, would IE potentially consider me anyway?

I understand that “expects at least three” probably means 3 A Levels is the normal requirement, but I’m wondering whether anyone has experience with IE making an exception in circumstances like this.

Would the fact that I have very strong grades overall and substantial extracurriculars make any difference, or is having 3 A Levels essentially a hard requirement for admission?

Need help (high school senior)

I need to know, for my CV, what I should separate everything into. Should I use sections like Education, Experience, Achievements, and Skills, or are there other sections that would make more sense?

Also, if I was part of a program for two years and have several things to mention from it, but only one of those things is an award, should I include the program under both Experience and Achievements? For example, put the full experience and everything I did under Experience, and then separately mention the award from that program under Achievements? or is that repetitive im lost

FOR UNI ADMISSIONS BTW!

Unis that accept 2 a levels only

hii im currently looking for unis abroad that accept students with only 2 full a levels and offer scholarships/financial aid

unfortunately my school is only offering Math at A2 and in my country for uni admission uonly need one full A Level, i took Math, IT, and chem in AS, and I got A’s in all three. However, because my school isn’t offering A2 for IT and Chemistry, I’ll most likely continue with Math + IT, rather than trying to continue Chem too cuz its ognna be hard to do alone

My goal is to get A/A* grades in both subjects, ideally aiming for 2 A*s. I also have 7 A*s in my O Levels and decent extracurriculars

im planning on perusing computer science and ai

I know many universities require 3 A Levels, so I’m specifically looking for universities that would consider 2 because of my school’s subject availability.

If you know of any universities that fit, I’d really appreciate recommendations and if you’ve been in a similar situation, I’d love to hear how you handled it.

Sponsors recommendations?

ie uni (confused abt mixed opinions)

hi I’m an international student currently researching universities for CS/AI, and I would really appreciate some advice. I’m considering applying to IE CS/AI, but I’ve been seeing very mixed opinions about it online. I was encouraged to apply cuz of the scholarship opportunities they offer, id only attend if I received a significant scholarship.

I know some people might suggest choosing another uni, but I’m genuinely trying to understand my options. I want a uni that provides a good education, strong opportunities, and is financially realistic. I have just finished my AS Levels and currently have A grades, O Levels were all A*s although i dont think unis look at those, have not taken the SAT.

I’m interested in a university that can help me develop both technical skills and opportunities outside the classroom unis in my home country are considered good locally, especially for CS, but their global rankings are much lower compared to international universities.

If I received a scholarship, would IE be worth choosing over a strong local CS university? And im just confused about eveything id appreciate it if someone can help. Thank you!
