Where to save/invest for mid-term purchases?
Where do you all put money while saving for mid-term purchases? For example, saving for your next car. I save ahead of time so then I’m buying in cash. I also typically pull from that fund for current car maintenance, but I have an emergency fund that can cover any bigger problems.
For me, that car fund is in a HYSA, is that the move you’re making? Do you take the risk to put it into a VTI/VOO investment instead?
