Meditation for me
So I started meditating again, I used to do it when I was younger, but I have a real sense of accomplishment with it now. I'm not gonna really share the things that happened outside my life that have helped me to meditate too much. But I will say, one of the best times one can meditate is when life is hard. And you feel like you're in a corner, when you feel like your back is against the wall and you need an answer or you need to keep yourself from having a constant panic attack, making that choice to sit down in the chaos and meditate is powerful. Now, what I do is look to the structure that was described in Avatar:The last airbender, when Aang is shown the seven chakra points. Going through these honestly and trying to clear the blockages and reach a place, a feeling like neutrality at the end of every process of unblocking. And then imagining a prism or some structure that you feel can expand from that center point out and to be very clear, doing this with a sense of neutrality. And as you go through each point when you feel like you've cleared the blockage and you feel neutral. Not happy or sad. Not angry or joyful, but just neutral. You make the mental image of the prism starting at that chakra point and expanding out around you, meeting the one before it over and over again until you reach the end, at that point, the energy of the universe flows in from the crown, down the front and up the back. And all you need is to observe the energy from the universe as it makes contact with your prism (construct around you) that you built without the static of the world but via the neutrality so it has no resistance, this will activate an aura or energy cloud within the prisim around your body activating the current in the loop you just cleared via unblocking the 7 chakras kind of like how a transformer works via a magnetic field. Once this happens you will be in a state of neutral calm and this is were intent can come in, taking in energy from that loop flowing through the chakras into the lower abdomen to fill and fuel a healing process.
Did not do all that right away, the process of unblocking can take a long while and I would suggest focusing on that mental process first and when that seems like something that isnt difficult, that feeling of neutral observation then incorporating the sense of the prism, shield like structure expanding and encompassing your being would be next. I would advise thinking of that structure as keeping the chakra that it came from unblocked simply by expanding outward its ensuring it doesnt get blocked again by the same issue allowing you to completely focus on the next chakra
The breathing was more of an after thought a steady in and out with the tongue cupped a bit to cool the air as it enters in and out of the mouth for low effort coupled with your meditation, it naturally paired nicely with 5 to 7 beats in and out for myself, you want to do this calmly and have the process of breathing be so efficient and low energy that you dont have to focus on the process once its set.
Just my two cents. Good luck out there.
