StudentAidBC Withdrawal Error
I wanted to make a post to let anyone know who is experiencing issues with StudentAidBC when applying for their student loan. If you experienced the issue during Winter semester of them wrongly saying you withdrew, you may experience another error when applying for next semester. I was alerted to a restriction on my account when I tried to apply which said could no longer receive funding due to a withdrawal. It was specifically called an SSR error.
A StudentAidBC rep I spoke with today let me know that this error is due to the accidental withdrawal error that Douglas students from last semester experienced and they are aware of it. I’m not sure why they haven’t posted any kind of announcement but, I thought I would make this post to help others who are experiencing it as I was super anxious until today.
TDLR if you have a SSR error and you don’t have any withdrawals you may be experiencing an issue on SABC’s end due to the accidental withdrawal error that Douglas students experienced in Winter semester. They are aware and fixing it.
