Force to Disable Quest Auto-Updates without getting Brick or Ban
Hello there, I have a question about how to block META updates without getting bricked or banned. Since the April update, I haven't had any problems, and I know that each update sometimes creates new issues on my Quest 3. For example, before the March update, the UI menu took forever to load (up to 2 or 3 minutes) and I only use it for PCVR with ALVR. I don't use any META apps or games.
I used to have META Link, but unfortunately, it became unusable, I tried to fix it, but no matter what, I couldn't even access into the desktop, so I switched to ALVR, and so far, it's been the best app for gaming.
My question is, will I be able to play ALVR wirelessly on my Quest 3 connected to Wi-Fi, with some kind of block that prevents META from automatically updating?
And if so, is there a tutorial?
