Love the Adizero Evo SLs, want a rotational shoe, tried the Vomero 18 but getting achilles pain. Novablast 5 or something else?

Hi all, first-time poster, relatively long-time runner!

Having been more of a fairweather runner the past few years, I've decided to push to make it a hobby, improve my fitness, and build consistency this year. I've set myself the target of running 1,000km for the year. It might not be a big challenge for some of you, but it's quite a lot given my current goings on in life, so please no judgement!

I was recommended by an avid runner friend that I tried the Adizero Evo SLs. I've been using them so far for the first ~300km of my challenge and have loved them, setting a new half marathon PB the other week by about 5 minutes and getting dangerously close to 5k and 10k PBs I set years ago! They're comfy, lightweight, cushioned, and I don't feel any pain in my Achilles as I have with previous shoes.

I then looked to get a rotational shoe. Something that's not necessarily going to set PBs but be comfy for doing longer runs in to help build mileage. After doing some reading I went for the Nike Vomero 18s, but after two runs I've found I get pain in my left achilles. I've not had this at all when using the Evo SLs before or after these two runs in the Vomero 18s. I think it might be to do with the heavier weight of the Vomero 18s putting extra strain on the achilles, but I'm no expert.

Anyway, I'm thinking about just making the Vomero 18s my dog walking shoe and picking up another to go in rotation with my Evo SLs. I've heard very good things about the Novablasts and that they're a relatively lightweight, cushioned, everyday runner. Does that seem like a good choice, or am I better going for something else entirely?

Cheers for your help and advice. I'm enjoying running more than ever and want to make sure I can hit (or even exceed my goal) and avoid any injuries.
