I was never an arcade gamer even though I was around when arcades were still properly a thing. Most of the classics I only came across through home ports or clones.

Recently though I've been diving full-on into the arcade world, and have been having a good time with it! But the number of arcade games that exist is incredible.

Everyone knows the big obvious classics. But now I'm on the lookout for your deep cuts - lesser known stuff that's either high quality, has quirky or clever gameplay ideas, or is worth putting a spotlight on for basically any reason.

Don't stress too much about what does and doesn't qualify, I'm just curious what comes to mind!

Even though I've been a fan for a long time I only recently became aquainted with this track.

How on earth was this not considered worthy of an album?? That main chugging riff is so addictive and the dissonant Patton melodies are great.

KFAD is a great record already but it would've been untouchable with this on it. It could even have been the opener.

Normally when Rid has a film coming out, he's already knee-deep in the next one, but that doesn't seem to be the case this time.

You'd think right now the Bee Gees biopic would be an easy sell with the (commercial) success of the MJ film, but there's been no word on that for some time, or on Battle Of Britain or his passion project western either.

Maybe studios are waiting to see how Dog Stars performs before pulling the trigger. But hopefully he gets something up and running soon. Our boy's 88 and making films keeps him alive - he can't afford to be sitting around waiting too long!
