







can't believe the version with both sets of parts is priced the same as the Iron Kong. I was sure it'd cost more than the Iron Kong.
TOMY includes two sets of parts—one for the BATTLE FILMS version and one for the traditional design—allowing you to choose whichever style you prefer.
The mounting base was modified for vertical articulation, the anti-interference tab was removed for a cleaner look, and the sensor was offset outward with a 30MM joint to prevent interference. The surface-to-surface missile mount was also repositioned farther back so it wouldn't obscure the machine gun as much.

Following a comprehensive refit, it returned to active frontline service. Meanwhile, the Attack Booster was reassigned to the Imperial Weapons Development Bureau for continued development and evaluation.
Continuous rain delayed the project for about two weeks, but I finally managed to finish it over the last few days.
The torso articulation is genuinely fun to play with, and I had a great time building it.
The 1/72 scale is based on the original specs of 27.5m tall and 50m long, not the anime version where everything is scaled up by 100x. Unless they add special mini accessories, each cockpit section is basically designed for just one pilot.
So there’s really no need to overthink it—it’s just slightly larger than the Gojulas you’re holding in your hand.

Repainted and modified using Bandai 30MM parts, with piping added to the abdomen. The 20mm machine cannons have also been modified to be rotatable.

The staff explained that the test sample was made using 3D printing, so the overall structure was quite loose and difficult to display properly. They said it would be easier to showcase once the final product version is ready.
