Hardwired undercab lighting
I'm redoing a kitchen with undercab lighting and I'm trying to find different ways to do it then the usual large tube sized lights with integrated junction boxes. So my thought was to trying to hardwire some led strips to 14/2 with the dimmer shown below. The reason I'd connect the led strips to romex is so I don't have to run new low voltage wire. Basically my question is, can I use 14/2 as low voltage wire, and if so, can it be used without a junction box?
