Everything is in the title. Is there a fairytale that almost everyone know in your country that is quite obscure outside?

For France I think it's le Petite Poucet/Hop-o'-My-Thumb by Charles Perrault. Basically everyone know it in France and is more popular than Riquet with the Tuft and the Fairies also by Perrault but I had the impression that outside it's one of his least famous tales. Maybe it got overshadowed by Hansel and Gretel that is I think part of the same tale type.

I share this video because I 100% agree with it, if you like Ever After High you are likely to like Princess Tutu and Utena. The girl give a good summary for the two series without spoilers.

I share here this well made animated movie. It's a retelling/adaptation Tsarevna Frog/The Frog Princess with a gay romance. It's only three minutes long.

I share here Katie Aiko's last animatic for her version of the Beauty and the Beast. She made many concept arts and animatic for her versions of ballets/tales or novels including for the Beauty and the Beast, I love her work and I think that it could interest the people of this subreddit.
