a dream or not?(not ai just translated it into english, cause i wrote it in german)

I had just come home from work. It had just turned 11:00 PM, yet the TV was on—even though I knew I was the only one in the house. I took off my shoes and headed toward the living room to turn the television off. As I did so, I felt an eerie presence behind me. I spun around quickly to check, but there was nothing there.
I went to the bathroom as usual to wash up and brush my teeth, but I felt that presence behind me again. I looked in the mirror and saw it. It was a white, smiling face. The mouth was wide open, almost distorted. I turned around slowly and flipped on the light. The face vanished into thin air.
Later, I headed to my room, closed the door behind me, and went to bed. In the middle of the night, I woke up and saw the face in the corner again. I tried to get up to turn on the light, but I fell out of bed and suddenly plummeted through the floor.
I landed on a yellow carpet, surrounded by walls covered in yellow wallpaper. I constantly heard a buzzing sound—like that of a fluorescent light—all around me; it never stopped. After hours of exploring, I realized that this place seemed infinite.
I made the best of it and kept walking; I had no idea how much time had passed since I fell from the ceiling. As I wandered around, I saw a note on the wall: "Run if it sees you." At first, I didn't think much of it and kept going. Later, I came across large black arrows pointing in a certain direction—but I should have ignored them, because suddenly, a huge black monster came rushing from the distance; it looked slimy and... almost bacteria-like.
I ran away and fell through the floor again. This time, I landed on a cold floor—the kind you find in indoor swimming pools. I looked around and heard water. Following the sound, I arrived in a vast room made entirely of porcelain tiles; there was even a water slide sitting right in the middle of the space, for no apparent reason.
Hours passed—or so it seemed. I walked on and on until I heard a muffled voice and followed it. Two people in yellow protective suits were standing there, documenting something about the place. I waved and walked toward them. Suddenly, the two men grabbed me and dragged me to their headquarters: "A-SYNC."
A-Sync was the name of the organization exploring this massive place and documenting everything about it. The men threw me into a sort of portal, and suddenly I was back in my apartment. The TV was on, sirens were wailing outside—everything was just as usual. Was my experience real, or just a dream?
