Huge desing flaw of Dualsense V2 CFI-ZCT2W

In the latest revision of Dualsense, they placed the friction rings directly on the faceplate instead of the shell itself. It is no longer possible to replace the friction rings without replacing the entire faceplate, but in my opinion, that isn't even the biggest issue.

The friction rings are now on the thin faceplate rather than the shell, meaning the joystick applies force directly to a faceplate held in place only by weak, flexible clips. After a short time, the torque from the joystick causes these clips to flex, and the faceplate itself begins to shift around as you move the joystick. This not only ruins the feel of the joystick, but it also causes a creaking sound as the clips loosen up.

Worse yet, if you ever remove and reinstall the faceplate for any reason, you're out of luck. The plastic clips completely lose their structural integrity, and the shifting and creaking of the faceplate increase drastically. For that reason I went back to using my old one. I highly recommend staying away from the latest revision.

Why are Midnight controllers getting scratched too much?

I bought the Midnight controller I have just one month ago. I don't have this problem with my white Dualsense, which I've had for almost two years.
