I've always leaned toward starting mine up and in when it's lefty vs lefty and middle-in or middle-out righty vs righty. If it's lefty vs righty I generally start middle-in. Righty vs lefty I will start middle-in or middle-out depending on the pitcher.

Being retired at 70 years old I play franchise with the Giants and the A's and I trade off every series. I play on legend so it's very challenging for an old fart like me. I love managing lineups, rosters, and game play. I have no interest in being a general manager. I control all 30 teams but only manage two. I use exact rotation matchups but allow the computer to handle the other 28 team's lineups. It's very tedious but a blast to compare my results with real life. Does anyone else out there play similar to this?
