Unable to connect to Xbox gamer profile when playing Xbox 360 games on my Xbox One S.
Hi! So I’ve never had an issue like this before, I used to just pop the disc in and it would have me sign into my gamer profile, and I’d hop right back in where I left off…. However I recently moved into a new home, tried to play Left 4 Dead without any internet connection and quickly found out how useless the Xbox was when disconnected. Now that I have internet, I figured it’d be fine, but now I’m not seeing any gamer profiles as an option to choose from, and when I click ‘Download Profile’ it gives me the pop up that I’m unable to connect to Xbox live.. which is not true because my connection tests show everything is working, and I’m able to go on the store and see other online features. This is just frustrating because I can’t save any new progress, I’m not even interested in the other online stuff with this game. Do I need to have a game pass subscription to be able to access this again? I did recently cancel my membership, however I still played this game before I had the subscription as well so I’m not sure how it all works.
