Portable 40W Solar Panel with Bluetti Elite 100 V2

Hi,

I have the following setup:

* 40W FlexSolar w/ DC5521 Output

* Bluetti Elite 100 V2

* DC5521 to MC4 adapter (picture 2)

* MC4 to XT60i cable (picture 3)

According to the FlexSolar specsheet, this panel has:

* Voc = 16.7V

* Vmp = 13.9V

Based on the adapter's info, the male/red cable is the positive. Based on the cable XT60 port, the red/female cable is the positive (squared side of XT60), so I think I'm not reversing the polarity, but my Bluetti is not detecting a thing. Picture 1 showing my connection.

With USB to phone (via KWS-X1 and FNB58), I'm getting constant >30W. Clear sky (35-40C today). What could be the issue here? Low voltage? Trying to get a multimeter here to measure, but don't have any right away.

Thanks!

XT60 Daisy Chain

Hi, I just got an Elite 100 V2. For a specific scenario, I will need to connect it to a portable 40W panel with DC5521 output. I was thinking on buying a DC5521-XT60 (M-F) adapter, and then a regular (M-F) XT60 extension. However, there are some scenarios where I might need more than 6 meters of length. I found a 6m extension available, but that wouldn't cover for 6m+ distances that I require.

Would a modular 3m+3m+3m extension be suitable? That would make it work on everything up 9 meters. I guess that moisture and humidity could be an issue on these connectors.

What's your opinion/solution on this? Thanks!
