Can we talk about how Expedition needs a serious update?
Let's go down the list:
Gwen: has been useless since forever, to the point even her slogbooks are considered a waste of time.
Fix 1: much higher chance of higher-tier mods.
Fix 2: rework to be a mystery unique of various sorts. Think Breach ancient wombat tree. You see some sort of unique type (claw, armor/ES boots, dex body armor, etc.), and gamba on a unique of that type. So Gwen goes from "random crap gamba" to "unique gamba", but the bases are more of a mystery instead of "champion kite shield -> ooh obvious aegis".
Fix 3: just make her old Faustus, except use up the option each time instead of having it constantly available.
Tujen:
The problem: as chaos has been devalued due to no more sinking on T17s, and fossils moved to delve-only, and exalts are now much more common, Tujen has just sort of lost his luster. May be decent early on for some bubblegum currency, but...ehhhhh
Fix: just let every page contain items purchasable in all four types of artifacts, each and every time. Let more GCPs and alts pop up.
Rog:
The problem: his algorithm is fundamentally broken by weighing higher item level mods instead of rarer mods. For instance, you will almost never see a reforge hit life on rings, because a tier 1 ring life mod tops out at ilvl 44. So, when you're doing expedition in maps, Rog will think that +105 maximum life is a low-tier mod, and roll right over it. Same thing with +gem level mods on wands and amulets. Do a single reforge on the prefixes? Kiss that +to all skills goodbye.
Fix 1 "reforge prefixes/suffixes X times, keeping best" -> "reforge prefixes/suffixes X times, keeping rarest".
Dannig:
The problem: the other NPCs all have issues. He doesn't.
