I've been playing since the beginning, travelled literally several hundred thousand blocks. I found an outlander outpost and deep inside I found a green liquid, like water. I didn't know what it was because I'd never seen it before. I looked it up and it says it's Poison but there are absolutely no details on it. I didn't even know it was in the game yet. I can't pick it up with a bucket or bottle. Any ideas?

Edit:
I had the courage to jump in and nothing happened. I even found a chest under the surface and found a 2 block deep section to see what it would look like under the surface.
