Is it worth it to take Sentinel instead of my ability score improvement?

I am currently playing a level 2 fighter, and due to the fact that I went with a variant human, I got a feat. I decided to choose polearm master, and decided to wield a spear in one hand and a shield in the other, paired with chainmail and the defense fighting style. What I am wondering is, that I’ve heard that sentinel pairs nicely with polearm master, is it worth taking it over an ability score improvement or another feat? If another feat, which to choose?

How do I begin to be a Christian?

I’ve been an atheist for a very long time, simply because I believed that a god is not possible, and that if one did exist, it is not “good”. However, recently I have been hearing about the teachings of jesus, and they deeply resonate with me, from what I have heard. Today i decided I was going to read the Bible, and i naturally started with Genesis. I read the first 10 chapters. I liked a lot of what I read, including the creation of earth, and the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. However, lots of it confused me, and a lot of it felt very repetitive in its descriptions of the bloodline of Adam and eve’s descendants. What was specifically confusing to me was the fact that lots of these people supposedly lived for impossible timespans. Also, at times god seems too much of a “person”, and at times seems immoral, like when he curses things and gives huge punishments. Another instance of this immorality is in the flood. It seems hard to believe that god can be all loving and also destroy all life except what was on the ark. On the topic of him seeming human at times, he needed “rest“ on the seventh day of him creating earth, which I would imagine a divine power would not need, and he is depicted as “walking“ through the garden of eden. To focus more on the title of the post, I am interested in becoming Christian , I am just confused on what I read I just don’t know how to become one. Any guidance is appreciated.

TLDR: I want to become Christian because I like what I’ve hear from Jesus‘s teachings. I’m also confused by the book of genesis.

What is this?

This place seems to be a bunch of schizophrenic people who stare at random pictures of static and text and expect to find something, and sometimes do find things, but via hallucination. What is the actual goal here? I'm not trying to be an asshole i'm just wondering if you guys are okay 😭
