Hey all, this might be a long shot for a 12-year-old game but I'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on.

I decided to pick up my dusty old bass guitar a couple days ago and I'm working through the bass lesson content. I'm on Double Stops 101B. As I approach the higher dynamic difficulties, these "empty" frames keep coming up with nothing in them, or with a marked fret but no string. They record a "miss" whether I play anything that fits the backing track, or mute and play nothing, or whatever.

Is there any way to get around this? I'm chasing those shiny 100% badges on the lesson list and it would be a shame if I had to leave this one behind because of a visual/tracking bug.
