[FOR HIRE] US Based Systems Engineer Built an MSP from Zero L2/L3 & More (REMOTE) 95K

Hi guys, looking to get out of my current MSP I do not like the direction the company is headed. I’m still early in my career but I built this current MSP from scratch, tools, workflows, building out BCDR solutions & more.

I’m the lead & only engineer I handle L1-L3 issues, sales, quoting, project buildouts. The MSP I work at is attached to an MSSP, and that’s how the company was started so I have a little bit of experience in both.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on have been; saving a client from a compromised MSP and performing a manual Azure to Azure VM migration using backups, implementing BCDR solutions & plans supporting HIPAA compliance, Google to 365 migrations, security vulnerability scanning & remediation, and so on. I’ve also built out client security checklists that go through the firewall, email security, 365 Security reviews and beyond.

My main goal is to identify any weak points in a clients environment be it infrastructure or cybersecurity, I make businesses secure & stable, I get to the root causes of problems that have appeared, or could appear, reducing overall ticket volume. I’ve restored some otherwise poor relationships with clients at my last MSP.

I’m located in CST, but I’m willing to work in any time zone so long as it’s remote 😄, if you’re looking to expand your market to my location I can help with that (I do onsite work as well).

RMM tools; Datto, SuperOps, Connectwise, Ninja, Atera, Syncro, Action1, GoTo/Logmein Resolve…

Backups; Cove, MSP360, Datto BCDR, Comet.

Google Workspace/365 Administration & Migration, SharePoint, SQL server migration.

Firewalls; FORTINET, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Sophos, Sonicwall.

Powershell scripting, some Linux experience via home labbing, and troubleshooting Datto SIRIS (because their support sucks).

I support a large vSphere environment with 50+ servers, and am a full-time 365 admin for a client. I’ve touched most Hypervisors out there. I’ve also got a little experience in Python, VDI, and Terraform, and a lot more!

I’ve done a lot in my short career, but I’m looking to get out of this MSP, I can go into detail in the interview if needed!
