My fictional Mossi Federation flag design [ethnic group of Burkina Faso and bordering countries]

This flag includes traditional Mossi colors- Red and Yellow a Mossi mask and a white stallion.

According to Mossi oral tradition, the mother of the Mossi people is Princess Yennenga, a famous 12th-century warrior princess. To escape an oppressive marriage arranged by her father, she fled north into the forest riding her favorite white stallion.

The white stallion led her to an elephant hunter named Rialé. They fell in love and named their son Ouedraogo, which translates directly to "Stallion" or "Male Horse" in the Mooré language, honoring the animal that brought them together. Ouedraogo grew up to found the Mossi Kingdoms, making the white stallion the foundational emblem of the Mossi empire and modern Burkina Faso.

Cockades of the Ukrainian People's Republic (UPR, 1917–1921) served as essential military insignia for distinguishing troops during the Ukrainian War of Independence. They often featured the national colors (blue and yellow) or the trident (Tryzub), reflecting the newly formed state’s identity, sometimes utilizing modified Russian Imperial or Austro-Hungarian shapes.

The higher ranking "Staršyny" often wore this cockards with blue background, while lower ranking "Kozaky" just had completely golden cockards without the blue background.

[Look at the second picture, on which a "British - type soft trench cap" is portrayed, which was actively being used by the Ukrainian army, but with our insignia]

I'm planing to recreate this Ukrainian hat, I have already ordered the British soft trench hat from "History Bunker ltd" (no advertisement, but I highly recommend their quality) and those cockards, of a Ukrainian military shop
