Do people, especially fakeclaimers, even know anything about alter egos? I know that being a system and having an alter ego is different. But these two things can overlap. I'm a system, I have an alter ego online to post vent art without being judged. If you gave me a dollar for every time a system was fakeclaimed in front of me for having a personality they made up to protect themselves online and not share any alters real names, or their legal name, or other private information, I would have 3 dollars. I know it's not much, but I feel like if I saw it 3 times, it happens way more often than I see it. I think masking can sometimes be about having an alter ego.
