So I'm planning on tuning. I don't like the price of Lap3 ($1500) when I can buy an ek1 then sleepy tune the ecu and tcu for the same price.
Is Lap3 That much better? Is JB4 lacking compared to sleepy ? What are the other tunes the community is running since I hear that KJT is no longer tuning. Is there anywhere I can have the tune flashed without buy the ek1 (I'm in nj)
Added 5mm to the front at 235/40 and 15mm to the back at 265/35. Perfectly flush in the back and the front sunken look is way cleaner.
I had the valves disconnected so I can hear the exhaust in comfort mode now. It's a welcomed change. Great stop gap until the exhauast and tune are done
So all who saw my post on my other page, thanks for commenting. I made a new account for the build. Previously I stated repairs would cost 2k. Looks like it'll be just around $2500 to get everything wrapped up, but I decided to upgrade while I'm at it. Ordered Korean OEM headlights (clear, no yellow) and working on getting the bumper fixed.
Lights were around $850 a piece on sale, 1k normally.
Still working on quotes for the bumper but so far it's coming in at $1400 - $2000. Trying to shop around.
I'll have updates in the next 2 weeks when parts are in and work has started.
