Hello all, I’m looking for some input on my current dilemma. My wife and I are building up on our current home in SE Wisconsin and I’m looking to make sure I do the insulating properly. I will have 2x4 exterior walls upstairs the same as downstairs so go hit the required r value I am using 1/2” r3 polyiso on top of the exterior sheathing(same as existing). This will one properly taped and sealed. That being said should I install any other type of vapor retarder on the interior of my home? Is there anything I should watch out for? Originally I was going to use r15 Kraft faced batts and tape the seams but now I think that might be unnecessary.
