I received an offer from a Big 4 firm, but after expenses I'll probably have less than ₱5,000 left each month. If I choose a local audit firm instead, I estimate I can save at least ₱15,000 monthly.
I'm the only one working in the family, and both of my parents are retired, so financial stability is very important.
Would it be better to prioritize the Big 4 experience for long-term career growth, or choose the local firm for the higher immediate savings?

Super nag-o-overthink ako ngayon. May opportunity kasi akong mag-firm sa Makati pero kapag iniisip ko pa lang yung rent, pagkain, utilities, at transpo, parang ang laki agad ng expenses.
Naiisip ko tuloy kung mas okay na lang bang mag-stay sa province at mag-local work na mas mababa ang gastos at mas malapit sa pamilya.

Alam ko namang malaking factor ang career growth, experience, at opportunities sa Makati kaya marami pa ring gustong magtrabaho doon. Pero sa taas ng cost of living ngayon, worth it pa ba talaga?
Sa mga galing province na nag-decide lumuwas para magtrabaho sa Makati/Metro Manila:
Sulit ba yung sacrifice?

Malaki ba talaga ang naging impact sa career ninyo?
Kung babalik kayo sa panahon na nagsisimula pa lang kayo, same decision pa rin ba?
Also, may alam ba kayong Big 4 firms o ibang companies na may permanent WFH setup o mostly remote work?

Gusto ko lang sana makarinig ng honest experiences bago ako gumawa ng malaking desisyon. Salamat!
