The Finale. FX Schmid 500 piece
I found this beautiful puzzle at a thrift store for $3. The copy right is from 1995, does that make it vintage? I’ve never done an FX Schmid, but was quite pleased with all the unique shapes and overall quality.
Who doesn’t love an epic battle? Who do you think wins? Maybe it’s a no brainer but I want to root for the small guy.
Has anyone heard of the book this image comes from? It’s titled The Finale by Calvin Miller.

I’ve found that 500-550 piece puzzles are perfect for a few hours of puzzling.
I picked this out at a thrift store yesterday and was so pleased when I completed it and discovered it was not missing any pieces. I like this brand Springbok because the image isn’t AI. The shapes of the pieces are all unique and oh so satisfying.
