check out hardcore.stonercraft420.com port 1080 if you have any issues feel free to hit me up. i have a sub r/Stonercraft420 but it is for my longterm world but if you have any issues feel free to get ahold of me on there. im trying to get this hardcore world to take off. just started a couple of days ago
u/Crustyssssss
started it up while pruning some entitys out of my long term survival world.5 years old. most my players have moved on but im keeping this up for them to play on periodically. if anyone wants to play would love for it to have some action still.
not many people will be playing from my server or joining it was just started yesterday. but we could get a periodical joiner. there are a couple of bases including a safe haven directly south of the spawn point. if anyone wants to check it out would love to have you. if you want to keep in contact or have any issues we have our sub r/Stonercraft420 it is actually meant for our main server if this server takes off enough we will create a seperate sub if need be or whatever. would love to have this world take off aswell and planning to keep it up forever take daily backups
i plan to keep on advertising for it however though so if anyone is interested would love to have you

Just wanted to share a milestone from my server, Stonercraft420. We’ve been running this world since 2021 and our active level.db is officially at 28.6 GB.
The craziest part is that we run the whole thing—server hardware, Starlink, everything—completely off-grid. I’ve got a 700-800W solar array and LiFePO4 batteries keeping us online 24/7.
Managing a Bedrock database this big while balancing a solar setup has been a massive project. I’m curious if anyone else is running an active world file this large or if we're hitting some kind of record here lol. Would love to hear how other admins are handling optimization at this scale
for proof check out r/Stonercraft420

Hey everyone, I wanted to share something cool I've been working on right here in Northern Michigan. I know this might not be for everyone, but I'm pretty proud of it.
I run a Bedrock Minecraft server, and the active database (level.db) just hit 28.6 GB. From the research I’ve done, I genuinely believe this is the largest strictly Bedrock level.db file in the world. I’m throwing out a bit of a friendly challenge to see if there are any other Michigan-hosted (or worldwide) worlds that can top that size!
The coolest part for me is that the whole infrastructure is off-grid solar powered. We’re running on a dual-array system (700-800W) using that Michigan sun at the tip of the mitt.
Note to Mods: I am absolutely not advertising or self-promoting here I won’t be sharing the server name or responding to comments asking for the IP to stay within the rules. I just wanted to share a unique technical project happening right here in our state!
I’ve included a hover-over of the directory to show the full breakdown. As you can see, the total world folder is 85.7 GB. This is because Bedrock now nests the .world_backups folder inside the main directory (which accounts for 57.0 GB of that total).
However, the active level.db—the part that actually runs the world—is sitting at a massive 28.6 GB. That is the number I’m putting up for the record.
XXV. The Two Crowns: Chinchilarip and the Colony
As the dust settled on the ruins of Hightown and the abandonment of Whiteash, two new powers began to rise in the shadows. This era is defined by the "Cold War" between two expanding territories: The Kingdom of Chinchilarip and The Colony.
The Kingdom of Chinchilarip: The Blackstone Fortress
To the north, Chinchila began the construction of a massive Blackstone castle, designed to be a monumental display of strength and architecture. Chinchila has consolidated some of the server's most formidable veterans to secure his borders:
The Right Hand: Fio the Great, the 3rd Knight of the server, serves as the kingdom’s primary enforcer.
The Vanguard: Veterans b4n4n4a and Firebird have joined the ranks, bringing experience from the Whiteash era.
The Buffer Zone: Bumble and her group have relocated nearby, seeking strength in numbers and forming a defensive perimeter around the spawn region.
The Colony: The Secret Safehaven
Simultaneously, fnaf founded The Colony, envisioned as "Whiteash 2.0." Unlike the public experiment of Whiteash, The Colony is built on secrecy and exclusivity. It serves as a private safehaven for a tight-knit group, primarily composed of fnaf’s family—Liz, Crust, James, and Hunter—along with trusted Whiteash refugees Spacekitty and Soll.
In a move that signals a massive shift in the server's economy, Crust officially moved his entire farming operation from the legendary Sanctuary to The Colony. His goal is to establish the Largest Field in the Server, turning The Colony into the agricultural powerhouse of the Archipelago.
XXVI. The Battle for the Middle Lands
Though both settlements are currently growing in peace, a shadow of future conflict looms. Chinchila and the leadership of The Colony have already acknowledged the inevitability of expansion.
The vast, unclaimed territory between the Blackstone Kingdom and the hidden Colony—known as the Middle Lands—is destined to become a battlefield. Plans are already being whispered for future events and wars as both factions eventually push their borders outward, vying for total control over the Archipelago’s heartland.
XXVII. The Restoration: The Saints of Spawn
While the great powers of the Kingdom and The Colony expanded outward, the heart of the server—the Archipelago Spawn—underwent a series of desperate transformations. This period is defined by two players who attempted to tame the most dangerous land on the server.
The Era of ThatOneChick
ThatOneChick arrived with a vision of peace. She dedicated herself to the "Cleanup of the Island," a grueling task of repairing years of creeper holes and terraforming the scarred landscape. She established:
The Spawn Garden: A massive public farm designed to ensure no new player would starve upon arrival.
The Sandstone Sentinel: A great pyramid built to add a sense of wonder to the Archipelago’s skyline.
The Safehaven: She acted as a guardian for newcomers, but the pressure of the "Wild West" was relentless. The constant raids, petty thefts, and the weight of maintaining order alone eventually took their toll. ThatOneChick eventually vanished, leaving her pyramid and gardens to the elements.
The Lexy Regency
A month of decay followed until Lexy, a veteran admin, stepped in to reclaim the island. Lexy’s arrival marked the most aggressive beautification project in the server's history.
The Great Purge: Lexy demolished the skeletal remains of old, griefed, and abandoned buildings that had served as hiding spots for thieves.
The Arbor Way: She constructed a "Highway of Trees" surrounding the spawn, creating a lush, green barrier that transformed the atmosphere from a wasteland into a park.
The Skybase: To oversee the island while remaining safe from ground-level griefers, Lexy constructed a floating skybase, a permanent administrative anchor for the Archipelago.
XXVIII. Current State of the Realm
With Lexy maintaining the hospitality of Spawn and the Chinchila/fnaf rivalry brewing in the distance, the server has entered its most organized state since the fall of Bell City. The economy is currently shifting toward the "Great Fields" of the Colony, while the military might remains concentrated in the Blackstone Kingdom.
The Chronicler's Note: The Archipelago is no longer just a collection of islands; it is a developing continent. The question remains: Will the "Safehaven" at Spawn survive the inevitable clash between the Kingdom and the Colony, or will the Middle Lands swallow the peace that Lexy and ThatOneChick worked so hard to build?
📜The Chronicles of the Server: A Complete History
I. The Wilderness Era: Roots and the Great Migration
In the beginning, the server was a quiet landscape inhabited by a handful of Xbox members. The community was split into two groups: xlsmoke, crustys, and chicken jeff in one, and ashyvibes with a partner in the other. They lived a nomadic life, raiding villages and engaging in "Bed wars" to stockpile every bed and bell they could find, planning to use them for massive future builds.
Within a week, new faces arrived: babykillaz, jetx101, and hesthefoamy. A pivotal decision was made early on. xlsmoke, crustys, and chicken jeff met babykillaz and agreed that spawn was too dangerous. To protect their hard work from TNT, they embarked on a long journey through the Overworld, traveling thousands of blocks away to establish a "safe base." It was only after this base was established that they began the grueling work of digging a tunnel near the Nether roof to connect their new home to the rest of the world for faster travel.
II. The Snail and the Crater
Conflict arrived with jetx101, who pressured the admins to install plugins and turn the server into a "Hermitcraft" clone. The admins refused, sparking a bitter rivalry. Foamy, the builder for Jet’s group, constructed a base featuring a wooden snail named Gary.
Amidst rising paranoia about "toolbox" hackers, Smoke and Jet clashed in a battle that Jet lost. When Jet’s spawn layout was griefed, he blamed Smoke. In a legendary act of retaliation, Smoke tracked Jet down and burned Gary the snail to the ground. In response, Jet and Foamy spent days unsuccessfully hunting Smoke. Frustrated, they turned their hacks on spawn, cratering the landscape until it was unbuildable. A lava-filled jail was erected to trap hackers, and after a young user crashed the server with a "32k looting sword," the "Visitor" rank was created to strip permissions from troublemakers. Jet and Foamy eventually left the server behind.
III. The Rise of Bell City and the Homeless Shelter
As the chaos subsided, a player named Dump and Pray (DNP) built a starter base that became the "Homeless Shelter." He instituted an escort system to vet new players before they could enter the wider community. Meanwhile, babykillaz expanded even further out, building a second house that became the server’s agricultural heart. Chicken jeff worked there tirelessly, building "1x highways" and farming so much food that the server would still be eating his harvests 170 days later.
The community soon began clearing land for a massive project: a city centered around a giant bell with floors made of colored beds. To clear a desert mountain for the site, they used "32k looting" gear provided by a "Horien hacker." Though the gear lagged the server, it allowed them to finish the walls and the Nether tunnel. Once completed, the residents of the Homeless Shelter moved into the newly christened Bell City.
IV. The Logbooks: A Summer of Growth (July – September 2021)
By July 31, Demon finished the shipping tunnel from spawn to Bell, and Stubbly began an End base. Hype set a record by reaching a height of 28,000 blocks. Throughout August, infrastructure flourished: Demon and Hype finished the railway, and babykillaz meticulously repaired the griefed builds at spawn.
This era was defined by community projects. Demon built an immigration station and a "Honey Lab Souvenir Shop," while Sweatynickel decorated the world with statues of penguins and gorillas. Crusty opened a museum, adding "Demon’s Arsenal" as a featured exhibit. However, darkness lingered. Ketchupking joined only to steal a shovel, and a player named Blubbarkarma was executed for trying to rob the entire community.
On September 6, a "Wither Apocalypse" struck. A player trapped in a "killbox" during an event released Withers at spawn, destroying the platform and Crustys castle. The community rallied, repairing spawn by September 9. By the end of the month, Stubbly and Rain were building ships at Bell, and Crusty worked on mapping out the expanding city.
V. The Golden Age and the Great Betrayal (October – December 2021)
October saw Stubbly promoted to an official admin with hosting access. Demon began planning a Porsche dealership, and the LOA (League of Assassins) took over builds left by departing players. L0uping (Lou) joined, becoming one of the few to stay long-term, living in a desert temple.
However, the server began to lose its veterans. CJ quit, weary of harassment, and Merlin left to start his own server. On December 5, Reindeer moved to Java Edition, leaving a memoir and his sword in the Bell graveyard.
The year ended in fire. On December 27, Ya5irA and E9906 launched "Wither Apocalypse II." They bypassed the main spawn to target babykillaz’s spawn fort and released dragons at coordinate 0,0. The resulting lag was so severe it took Stubbly two hours to stabilize the server. This attack forced a permanent change: the "Visitor" policy was strictly enforced, with all new players starting in adventure mode.
VI. The Modern Era: Transitions and New Frontiers (2022)
2022 began with a ban wave to purge the remaining hackers. When the 1.19 update arrived in June, it finally fixed a corrupted chunk at Vlad’s base that had been crashing the game for months. Stubbly finally completed his massive megabase, and new players night dragon and tobekieth arrived. Electedhades also returned under the alias "mute-duality".
Peace was short-lived. In November, a devastating grief hit Newville. Using border blocks and "falling block lag," attackers wiped out a section of the city. Night dragon and tobekieth vanished shortly after.
The final recorded entry of the era took place in December 2022. Following a breakdown in their relationship, Merlin and his base-mate Thender split. Thender took control of their original base, and Merlin exiled himself 80,000 blocks away to start anew, leaving the server’s history to be continued by those who remained.
VII. The Great Migration: The Four Spawns
Following the "Wither Apocalypse II," the community realized that safety required distance. The original Spawn (OG) was abandoned, and the center of the world was moved across the mountain. This second spawn lasted only a week; it was still too close to the scars of the past. The admins pushed further out to the 3rd Spawn, a location that would become legendary as Sanc Cherry. It was here that Vlad joined the community, marking a brief era of stability. Eventually, a 4th Spawn was established near the rising city of Newville, signaling the server's relentless push into the horizon.
VIII. The Betrayal of Reindeer
Perhaps the most devastating blow to the community’s spirit was the fall of Reindeer. Once a beloved veteran with a memoir in the Bell graveyard, Reindeer grew bitter. Whenever server events didn't go his way, he turned to destruction. Alongside Mute and Monkey Grape, he began a campaign of open griefing, boasting that they no longer cared for the server's survival.
The community was heartbroken to discover that Reindeer had been the secret architect behind many prior griefs. Though he was banned, he returned relentlessly on alt accounts, using his intimate knowledge of the server’s secrets to dismantle Spawn. To protect the remaining players, the admins moved Spawn a massive 20,000 blocks away and established a strict proximity zone.
The Chronicles of the Server: The Middle Ages
IX. The Era of New Paradise and the Reddit Boom
Mute eventually returned from his ban and chose to live in isolation at the new 20k Spawn, naming it New Paradise. Though lonely at first—as most players remained within the 10k safety zone—the tide turned when Crust moved out to join him. Crust began advertising the server on Reddit, sparking a period of unprecedented growth. The server went from one or two newcomers a month to five every week.
New Paradise transformed into a thriving community. OGs tunneled out to the area, and the "wild west" feel of the server began to settle. In an unexpected twist, Reindeer returned to apologize. He was welcomed back and, for a time, became the contributing builder the community remembered. With "Toolbox" hacks temporarily broken by game updates, the server reached a peak of 15 simultaneous players—a record for Crust and Lizrad.
X. The TikTok Invasion and the Proxy Age
The peace was shattered when a TikTok creator with a massive following directed their fans to the server. A wave of "Toolbox" users flooded in, and 90% of the new arrivals were intent on destruction. Everything was burning. To confuse the invaders, the admins began teleporting new players to a random, nondescript location. This led to the creation of Proxy Spawn.
The invasion fractured the player base. OGs retreated to the safety of the original spawn, while others tried to revitalize Merlin’s abandoned mountain base. The thriving community began to dwindle. During this "Proxy Age," Mark and Devon joined. Though Mark was part of the invasion wave, he proved himself a cool-headed builder and was allowed into New Paradise. However, his younger group’s hunger for PvP led to trouble. They began stealing items and beacons to fuel their own growth, eventually being run out of Proxy by the community. Interestingly, Mark’s influence led to a massive demographic shift, with over half the player base now joining from the Philippines.
XI. The Great Wall and the Rise of Sanctuary
In an effort to spark a new community project, Crust and his family moved back to Spawn to build a colossal wall around the area, intended to be filled with lava. It was a project of impossible scale, but by paying new players to mine and build, the "Wild West" of Spawn was tamed.
The physical reality of the server changed. Transitioning to self-hosting, the owner, Crust, moved the operation to a solar-powered, off-grid setup in Northern Michigan. Using Starlink for connectivity and a solar/battery array funded by the community, the server became a testament to resilience. While still supplemented by a generator in the winter, the goal remains a 100% solar-powered history.
This sparked the birth of many cities, most notably Sanctuary, which grew to house 25 players at its peak. As Sanctuary grew wealthy, it became a target. When griefers struck, the wealthy residents moved back to the Spawn wall, building a skyline of skyscrapers. Notable players like Fiddy stepped up to lead, building just outside the wall and inspiring others to return. This era saw a map dotted with urban centers: Chills Area, Jtown, Blueville, Satans Bunghole, Glow, Roads Rest, and Caldwell Mt.
XII. The Rise of the Mafia and the Proxy Wars (Post-Philippine Wave)
Following the demographic surge, a player named Waffle emerged as a central, if polarizing, figure. Having been mentored by several mods, Waffle eventually ventured out on his own to establish "The Mafia." His stated vision was paradoxical: he sought to build the most powerful group on the server, yet claimed his intentions were for the "greater good."
The community, however, did not see a protector; they saw a threat. During the Proxy Era, Waffle became one of the most notorious figures on the server. He focused heavily on recruitment, eventually commanding a loyal force of about 10 members. Despite his insistence that the Mafia was a force for stability, he quickly found himself on the community’s "shitlist."
Tensions boiled over when Waffle and a group of new recruits began "jumping" established community members. These attacks were infrequent, albeit minor, but they turned Waffle into a marked man. He was placed under constant surveillance by veterans, and the general sentiment toward him shifted from skepticism to outright hatred.
XIII. The Exile and the Rise of the Solar Frontier
Ridiculed by the community and weary of the constant friction, Waffle’s interest in the server began to wane. During his period of withdrawal, he launched his own independent server and began actively poaching players from the community.
This move shattered the remaining threads of goodwill. Waffle’s open advertising of his competing project was a direct violation of community norms. His refusal to stop these activities led to his eventual ban, effectively ending the "Mafia" era. The server, reeling from the internal instability caused by Waffle and the previous administration fractures, made the decisive move toward the Solar Transition—a pivot to self-hosting in Northern Michigan—to escape the chaos of the past and secure the server's future via total infrastructure control.
XIV. The Redstone Renaissance at Xao
Before Lunar, much of the server's "power" was defined by combat prowess or "32k" hacked gear. Lunar shifted that focus to technical dominance.
Xao as the Redstone Capital: Under her influence, Xao became a hub of productivity. She didn't just build houses; she built massive automated farms that effectively "industrialized" the server's economy.
Funding the Community: Because her redstone builds produced resources at such a high volume, she became a primary financier for other projects. Her builds allowed the community to move away from manual grinding and toward the massive architectural projects seen in the later "Skyline" era.
The Invention of "Lore" and the Tree Goddess
Lunar was arguably the first player to treat the server as a living story rather than just a game world. She introduced the concept of Server Lore as a mechanic for engagement.
The Religion of the Tree Goddess: She created a complex belief system around a "Tree Goddess," which added a layer of roleplay that hadn't existed during the "nomadic raiding" days.
Physical Artifacts: She left physical marks—shrines, written books, and symbolic builds—all over the map. This turned the server into a "haunted" landscape where new players could discover the history she was actively writing.
The Achan Connection: The history mentions a mysterious figure named Achan who left "artifacts" around the server. There was a persistent community theory that these lore-heavy items were a collaboration or a conflict between Lunar’s narrative and the admin's secret actions.
The Impact of the Admin Schism
Lunar’s departure was a "canary in the coal mine" for the server’s stability. She played right up until the Admin Schism, which saw the exit of Frambo and several other veteran loyalists.
The Scorched Earth Policy: When the schism happened, the departing members—devastated by the loss of trust—began griefing their own massive builds.
Lost History: Because Lunar and the Xao group "wiped their history" to prevent the admins from "owning" their work, many of her greatest redstone achievements and lore sites were lost to the "Scorched Earth" era.
XV. The Aftermath: World War Waffle
Following Waffle’s ban for poaching players and unethical server promotion, a massive, toxic conflict erupted, dubbed "World War Waffle." The server was flooded by his supporters, leading to a period of intense discord. The chat became a battlefield, characterized by vile behavior, racial slurs, and endless, circular arguments over whether Waffle was a revolutionary leader or a destructive cancer to the community. This period tested the resolve of the remaining veterans and solidified the community’s "zero-tolerance" stance on Mafia ideology.
XVI. The Ice Era: The Shadow Mafia
In the wake of Waffle’s departure, his right-hand man, Ice, attempted to revive the Mafia’s legacy. He took the reins, publicly claiming to lead a reformist version of the group. However, the community’s hatred for the Mafia brand remained absolute. Ice’s attempts to grow his influence were met with relentless ridicule and suspicion.
Under immense pressure, Ice publicly "backed out" and announced the formal dissolution of the Mafia. But it was a ruse. The community soon noticed that while the name had vanished, the Mafia tactics had not.
The Signature Uniforms: The Mafia had become known for specific armor trims and equipment setups. Even after they changed their trims to disguise their identity, their combat tactics remained identical.
The Dupe Factor: The Mafia’s primary edge was their reliance on duped items. The community grew adept at spotting these "Mafia-style" loadouts; whenever a group would suddenly "arm up" with perfect, high-tier gear during a standoff, the community knew exactly who they were dealing with.
The Persistent Threat: Throughout this era, the server dealt with a constant, draining stream of targeted griefs and player-on-player attacks. It is still widely believed that Ice never truly dismantled the group, but rather forced it into the shadows—maintaining a "sleeper" Mafia that continued to operate under the radar, fueling the very conflicts the community was desperate to escape.
XVII. Redstone, Lore, and the Admin Schism
During this time, Lunar joined, pushing the server to its technical limits with massive redstone farms and complex "lore." While the admins monitored the lag, a player named Achan—believed to be an alt account—began griefing Lunar’s base and spreading "artifacts" around the server for lore purposes.
The stress of the "Achan" mystery and server management led to a breaking point. An admin named Frambo snapped, publicly venting her frustrations. Crust removed her permissions, leading to her quitting and taking several loyalists with her. Suspicions arose that Crust himself was "Achan," leading to a "scorched earth" policy among departing members. They used the server's own rules against it, griefing their own massive builds to "wipe their history.
The Chronicles of the Server: The Modern Ages
XVIII. The Archipelago and the Solar Frontier
The server entered a dark period of extortion. A player named Chilldude attempted to blackmail the server, threatening to spread hacked gear unless he was given world downloads. The remaining admins stayed up all night fighting alts, but the trust in the community was broken. Spawn was moved once again to a new island chain: The Archipelago.
Today, the spawn remains a "Wild West." Under a zero-tolerance policy for duping and the "Mafia" groups, the admins continue to ban the bad actors, hoping to see the Archipelago grow into the next great era of the server’s long and storied life.
XIX. The Archipelago and the Rise of Fio
The move to the Archipelago was a quiet, isolated beginning. Surrounded by the "Stoner Sea," the community was reeling from the fallout of World War Waffle and the admin drama. For a time, it was a true "Wild West" with little administrative oversight.
However, a player named Fio emerged as the first to embody the true Stonercraft spirit of the new era. Fio struck out as an independent pioneer, establishing a castle and a burgeoning civilization. He began inviting others to his lands, including a player named Lucdad. This would prove to be the beginning of the end for Fio’s first settlement. The base was plagued by a string of thefts and griefing; while never officially proven, the community’s suspicion fell heavily on Lucdad and his associates.
XX. The Promised Land and the Organization
Before a move could be made against him, Lucdad led his group away, declaring a "Promised Land" (Promisland) located 200,000 blocks away—a distance he claimed would be safe from the server's chaos. After a grueling journey and a denied request for a teleport from Crust, Lucdad’s group finally established a series of camps and a settlement at the 200k mark. To protect Fio’s remaining people from further harassment, Crust eventually agreed to teleport Lucdad’s straggling basemates out to the Promisland.
Peace was short-lived. Lucdad began digging into old server lore and reached out to Chilldude. Tensions peaked when Margaret, Chilldude’s notorious right-hand man associated with past doxing threats, joined Lucdad's "Organization" Discord. Viewing this as a direct threat to the safety of the community, Crust issued an ultimatum: leave the Organization or be exiled. Those who remained were banned, as the "Organization" was revealed to be the second iteration of the Mafia ideology.
XXI. The Golden Age of Whiteash
With Fio looking for a fresh start and the Archipelago needing a hub, Crust founded the city of Whiteash. Located 1,000 blocks south of spawn, the city was designed as a safe haven, accessible only by boat to maintain a distance from the "Wild West" of the mainland.
Work began with residents like Killaz, Spacekitty, and Chila. Chila and Crust flattened the land, laying roads for a massive shopping district. The city boomed; for the first time in years, the economy flourished and trust returned to the player base. However, the shadow of the Organization returned through alts. Tunnels began appearing beneath shops—a subterranean network used by saboteurs to bypass security.
XXII. The Burning of Whiteash and the Knighting of Fio
The "Rogue Player" era began when a trusted member with permissions turned against the city. The first major blow was the burning of Firebird’s Chicken. Built of wood, the shop was leveled by fire, forcing the city to mandate quartz construction for future builds. Shortly after, a wave of TNT and fire attacks struck the remaining shops. The betrayal shattered the community’s trust, and Whiteash was slowly abandoned as players scattered back to the wilderness.
Amidst this decline, Fio performed a feat of legend. Out of pure boredom, he summoned and fought two Withers simultaneously. As the community gathered to watch, Fio dominated the beasts with such ease that the crowd called for a third. For his incredible combat prowess and spirit, Fio was knighted by Crustys, becoming the 3rd Knight of the Server.
XXIII. The Duelist Legendary and the Court of Whiteash
The arrival of Legendary marked the end of Fio’s reign as the server’s undisputed strongest player. A high-tier PvP specialist, Legendary spent his early days hunting players at spawn and raiding bases.
His reign of terror was eventually brought to the Whiteash Courthouse. In a landmark piece of server lore, a player named CPR sued Legendary, seeking a restraining order for murder and alleged griefing. Though the griefing charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, a fine was established for trespassing. Legendary proved to be a good sport regarding the legal proceedings, and while he remained the deadliest player on the server, the court case successfully de-escalated the violence.
XXIV. The Rise and Fall of Hightown
As Whiteash faded, Summitcore arrived and established Hightown south of spawn. It became the fastest-growing city in server history, housing 20 residents and rivaling the size of Whiteash in record time. However, Summitcore operated in isolation from the admins, and the city quickly became a hotbed for crime and duping.
The situation turned critical when the server began to freeze and stutter. Hightown had become so riddled with illegal items and potential "book bans" that it was causing massive technical lag. Tabby was dispatched to lock down the city and eradicate the exploits. The end came when Summitcore was banned for making prejudice remarks—a zero-tolerance offense. Control was briefly passed to Clive, but without Summit's leadership and with the admins clearing out the lag-inducing chests and armor stands, the city was picked clean by scavengers and eventually left to rot in the Stoner Sea.
The chronicles now stand at the edge of the modern era.
Note: The fall of Hightown serves as a stark reminder that in Stonercraft, a city's growth is only as strong as its foundation of rules and respect.
havent found any morels yet in my neck of the woods but i have noticed the wild ramps are popping up!!!

The Era of the OG Spawn (The Beautiful Beginning)
- Duration: 1+ Years
- The Vibe: Our most beautiful build, but the most haunted. We were fighting a losing battle against toolbox users and hackers every single day.
The Great Migration (Spawns 2 & 3)
- The Struggle: We tried to hide. First, just over the mountain (Spawn 2), then 1k blocks away (Spawn 3). It didn't work. Players kept trekking back to OG spawn just to trash the ruins. We realized we had to go further.
The Ocean Fortress (Spawn 4)
- The Turning Point: We moved 2k blocks out into the middle of the deep ocean. This finally broke the cycle of griefing. This was the era of Newville, built by Mute. It was the heart of the community... until the Reindeer Betrayal. After a trusted player admitted to being the mole, we knew nowhere was safe.
The Deep Dark (Spawn 5 - 20k blocks out)
- The Exile: We pushed spawn out to 20k to hide from alts. Mute built New Paradise, but the server was quiet. I (Crust) moved out to be with the few new players left.
The Wild West: Proxy Spawn (Spawn 6)
- The Invasion: The TikTok Invasion (shoutout Namakazi) brought hundreds of griefers a day. We built a "Fake Spawn" (Proxy) to trap the chaos.
- The Result: Proxy became a monster of its own. For 2 years, it was the most populated, lawless area on the server. Between the Mafia taking hold and the Admin Schism, the tension finally snapped.
The New Dawn: The Stoner Archipelago (Spawn 7)
- Current Home: We’ve moved once more, out into the Stoner Sea. This is the archipelago you see today—Hightown in the NW, White Ash in the South.
- The Tech: Now hosted 100% off-grid on solar power, we’re more stable and secure than ever.

6 Years of Stonercraft: From a shared Realm to an Off-Grid Solar Server
I wanted to share a look at the "brain" behind our world. Most of you know I live off-grid and rely on solar/generators for power, but I haven't posted the full breakdown of how we actually got here and the struggle it took to keep this map alive.
Our world is 28GB now with 5 years of history on this specific map, but the group actually started 6 years ago on a Realm. Back then, Lizrad420, Smoke, and I were always switching back and forth on who hosted. When it was Liz’s turn, we decided to take it seriously.
We needed a name, and the next day Lizrad comes back with Stonercraft. Honestly? I hated it at first. I thought he was too young for the name, but he had already built this massive sign over spawn (like the old Minecraft tutorial signs). Eventually, it grew on me. We used the name to advertise and the playerbase exploded.
The Hosting Gauntlet: We eventually outgrew the Realm and moved to MCProHosting. We actually stayed with them for about 2 years and loved it zero issues, great service. But then they got bought out by Niktros Gaming, and we ended up moving over to Apex.
That is where the head-desking started. The day we moved to Apex, the lag was instant. It was almost unplayable with massive lag spikes nonstop. We eventually got it squared away and stuck with them for a while, but when we hit the point where we needed another upgrade, I decided I was done paying for hosting that couldn't keep up. That’s when I decided to move everything onto my own i7.
The Hardware Journey: One of the photos shows the original "command center" an old HP laptop with an i7 and 16GB of RAM. Living in the woods, our first hurdle was internet. No ISP would come out here, so we gambled on Starlink. I told the community if they could help with the equipment, I’d donate my laptop to be the dedicated host. One of our members stepped up, and we were officially online.
The Power Struggle: Moving onto our own metal made the gameplay 10x better, but it hit my power bank hard. In the beginning, I was running the server off my house solar. It got so bad in the winter that we were sacrificing our fridge we were literally keeping our food in snowbanks outside just so spawn would stay loaded.
I explained to the community that the server needed its own "life support" system. Once again, people chipped in. That support funded the server’s own solar panels and battery bank.
Where we are now:
- CPU: Upgraded from the laptop to a Dell Pro tower (14th Gen i7).
- RAM: 64GB dual-channel (no more bottlenecks).
- Power: 4x 200w panels, Eco-Worthy LiFePO4 batteries, and a Victron pure sine wave inverter.
We aren’t 100% solar in the dead of winter yet—I still supplement with the generator when the sun hides—but that’s the ultimate goal.
To everyone who has been here since the Realm days, and everyone who chipped in for a panel or a stick of RAM: thank you. You guys are the reason this world is still spinning!
📜 SERVER RULES & GUIDELINES
Welcome to Stonercraft420. We are a public Bedrock survival server. To keep the vibe chill and the server running smooth, please follow these rules:
🛑 PART I: THE NON-NEGOTIABLES
1. No Griefing (Vandalism) Griefing is the intentional destruction of another player's hard work. This includes breaking, burning, or TNT-ing structures you didn't build.
- Note: We don't have intrusive logging plugins. If an Admin catches you or we find undeniable proof, you will be instantly banned.
2. No Lag-Machines (Performance Policy) Don't build excessive redstone loops or entity farms intended to tank the server's TPS.
- Minor Lag: You will be asked to remove it.
- Repeat Offenses: If you keep lagging the Solar Grid or build a massive machine intended to crash the server, you will be permanently banned.
3. No Toxicity (The "Douchebag" Clause) We are a chill community, and we intend to stay that way.
- Voting System: If you are being a douchebag, the community and staff will hold a vote. While the vote is active, you will be moved to the Visitor rank (removing your ability to interact/build). it will take 10 votes to have you banned and if more people vote otherwise then you will be safe.
- Slurs: We have zero tolerance for hate speech. Use of slurs results in an immediate, permanent ban.
- Spamming: Flooding the chat makes it unplayable. This will result in a mute or a ban if it continues.
🛡️ PART II: THE "SPAWN SURVIVAL" GUIDE
Because we are a public server, the Spawn Island is a magnet for "douchebags" and kids with no attention span. Protect yourself:
- The 1,000 Block Rule: Trolls are lazy. Most won't travel far. We highly recommend traveling at least 1,000 to 2,000 blocks away from spawn before starting a base.
- Hide Your Loot: Since we don't have land-claims, stealing is a risk. Hide your chests and hide your base. If you leave diamonds in a chest at spawn, don't expect them to be there when you get back.
🤝 PART III: THE TRUST COMMITMENT
We believe in maximum freedom. We don't use land-claim plugins because they ruin the survival feel. This freedom is a privilege—let’s work together to keep the server a legendary place to build. 🌿
⚖️ PART IV: BAN APPEALS (DIRECT TO OWNER)
If you feel you were banned unfairly or an Admin is being biased, contact the Owner directly. Do not argue with the staff.
