In good hands, so is my escrow accounts because you can't keep your word
Hello all. I am posting here to warn everyone about AllState's shady practices. I was working to my local agent to renew my home owners insurance and got a rate that I thought was good. I open up my account today and learned that I have been screwed by AllState. AllState decided to bill a different rate to my escrow company. I luckily retained the original offer and kept documentation and am using it contest this entire situation. The agent on the ground told me this is standard practice for AllState as well. They apparently do whatever they want regardless of what you agreed upon. AllState sends a renewal to your account ahead of time whether or not you have actually accepted what they sent.
I want to send this message to AllState. I hope you enjoy my money because obviously the only thing you care about is greed and not honoring what your agents say. I am not doing business with this place after this. You cannot do whatever you want and then expect customers to stand by you. If your word means nothing and your ethics are non-existent, then I have no reason to believe and trust what you say.
