Sad Peony plant
Can anyone give me any advice on how or if I can save this peony? I planted it in may around Mother’s Day. After researching I found that it is best to plant in full sun. That may have been a mistake. I live in central Oklahoma and it has been super hot for the last month or so. I’m thinking maybe a shadier spot would have been a better choice. I have been watering it at least once a day sometimes twice because it gets so wilted and sad looking. I also put little umbrellas over it during the hottest part of the day but it’s still so sad and I feel like it’s getting worse everyday. Should I go ahead and move it or wait until fall or even next spring? It is a Julia Rose itoh peony and I’ll be so sad if it doesn’t make it because it was beautiful in the spring.
