This is probably a known thing, but I just passed the investigation check and went into her lair. She never spotted me on my way. I dealt with her puppets and got Mayrina down from her cage without her ever spawning, but when I talk to Mayrina, she just doesn't react meaningfully. I don't have the option to tell her to leave by the circle of mushrooms or to follow me out. When I go out to talk to Ethel, I have no dialogue option for "Hey I just saw your lair where you torture people and held a girl captive". This is ridiculous. Idk what happens if I let her spot me on my way in the second time.
