I was thinking for a long time that I want to dye my hair all purple, but after some thought I think I want to do black that goes into a dark purple. I currently have virgin hair. I’ve had trouble just putting color on top of my hair, we tried to put a purple over my brown for the dark plum effect but it doesn’t stick. We have bleached and dyed my hair with success in the past but I have never done straight up black with a color. What process order should I take? I know black is hard to bleach, and I know it also transfers bad sometimes depending on the brand.

If anyone has any suggestions for a good black dye and what order to do it in, I would really appreciate some advice!
