Hi!
I’m a current federal employee with 680 hours of sick leave.
Our command learned last month that 20 vacancies will be considered redundant and later terminated in Sept.
I know I will be considered redundant as my position was brand new to support a small department. We are 2 man operation.
With that said, I want to utilize FMLA to burn my sick leave as I will not be going to another federal position.
I was put on an FMLA plan (didn’t know it was even a thing) about 2 years ago at my last command. It was only 2 days a month, and I rarely used it because I was so busy.
But what are my chances of being out on a FMLA plan 1,2, or 3 months straight?

Have you applied for bankruptcy? Did you regret it? Did it tank your credit even more?
