Hi! My cat has had neurological FIP twice now. Recently he was showing symptoms of FIP so we took him to the vet to get him checked out. This would be his second time relapsing and his third time with the treatment. While I am experienced and confident in my ability to care for him, I’m less confident that it’s ethical and financially sustainable to continue putting him through treatment/relapse. From my understanding it is supposed to be very rare that they relapse and I’m starting to feel helpless… My heart hurts so much for him and I’m lost as to what the right thing to do is. Have any of y’all experienced a cat relapsing multiple times? What would you do in my situation?
