Aice changed requirements??

I was recently told by my school counselor that students now have all four years of high school to complete the required 7 AICE classes and exams. However, everything I have read still says that students must follow the 25-month rule.
For context, I took two AICE courses and exams in 9th grade, two more in 10th grade, and I am currently taking two AICE classes during my 11th grade year. I told my counselor that I would like to take my final AICE course this year as well, which would mean taking three AICE classes this year and completing all 7 required courses within the 25-month timeframe.
However, she told me that I cannot take the final class this year and that I can take it during 12th grade instead. She said the rules have changed, but that the websites have not been updated yet and are supposed to be updated in September.
Has anyone else heard about this change? I’m worried that if the information is incorrect, my 25-month window will expire and the AICE courses and exams I completed in 9th grade may no longer count and all the work I've done will be for nothing because my school only offers seven Aice courses.
