Best countries for Indian law graduates to build an international legal career?
I’m an Indian BBA LL.B. student exploring options to eventually work abroad as a lawyer or legal professional. I wanted honest opinions from people who have actually gone through the process or are currently working abroad.
Which countries would you recommend for Indian law graduates in terms of ease of qualification or requalification, job opportunities, salaries, work-life balance, immigration or PR prospects, and long-term career growth? I’m currently considering the UK, Canada, Singapore, UAE, Australia, and the US.
I’d also appreciate insights on whether it’s better to first gain experience at an Indian law firm before moving abroad, how useful an LL.M. really is, and which countries are realistically worth the investment in the long run. Thanks in advance.
