Urine Sediment vs Bacteria

Hi all, I’m a lab tech in a vet lab ( so yes animal samples above, I’m sorry) without proper med lab training( I did work in a speciality vet clinic path lab for a few years under some professional MLT/ MLS though). I’m just curious how yall go about differentiating urine sediment and bacteria. I typically go off of the clustering behavior, but I was hoping for some more tips and tricks. The second photo is an ear cytology actually, I didn’t have a bacteria urine pic, I’m just using it as an example of cocci vs sediment clumping. Anyway, thank you in advance for any advice!! <3

WBC ID canine blood smear 100x

Hi all, I have recently gotten back into veterinary diagnostics 🥳 I’m a little rusty with my cell morphology though. What do yall think these cells are? I want to say lymphocytes but the chromatin looks so clumpy? There were multiple normal looking / smooth lymphocytes with plenty of cytoplasm in the sample as well. This was stained with quick-diff instead of giesma wright so I’m curious if maybe this stain isn’t as good at getting the little cellular components? Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts! ( I don’t have the cbc values sorry, old slide I was just practicing on)

I’ve been having really bad “rapid cycling” episodes and urges to SH lately, I’m 23 and I’ve never really SH before so no idea why they are hitting me now. I am such a chud loser. I hate bipolar disorder.
