Posting it here, because I will be quartered in other communities lol, but dear god, I hated all second chapter of questline so badly. Dottore and Pantalone probably got severe back pain for carrying all this mess.
Luna IX chapter was good: the build up, the sense of unknown danger coming, I really love Sumeru character cast, so I was glad to see all familiar faces and again see them at work. That was cool.
And then just something happened and quality of writing dropped and hit rock bottom. Pacing felt both slow as snail and meth fast, banters during work turned into banters instead of work, I constantly wanted Nahida just to shut up with all her wisdom wolf coans. One of the most interesting parts from Sumeru cast side was FUCKING PAIMON and her character growth, at some point I even stopped listening to VAs, I just quickly read dialogue and pressed next. Kaveh and AlHaitham specifically were the ugly parody of themselves with their constant bickering.
I felt like only Dottore and Pantalone scenes were really thought out and everything else were quick last-moment addition and Irminsul scenes felt like all epic action, drama and boom shakalaka were here to distract me from how unbearably stupid is everything that happens right now.
It had so much potential and it is wasted.
