Beginning of a cavity under the filling ?
Hello everyone, On Monday I went to see my dentist for slight sensitivity/pain that appeared in my upper left teeth ( #1) after eating something hard (these teeth have already had treatment, and one of them is often a little painful when a seed or something hard puts pressure on it). Today it doesn't hurt me anymore.
My dentist says he sees the beginning of a cavity under the filling on one of the upper left teeth (I don't know which one) and that I need inlays for all three teeth. This seems really excessive (and very expensive); I feel like he's just trying to make money off me. What do you think? The x-ray with image #1 doesn't seem to show much.
Furthermore, he says there's a beginning of a cavity on the tooth with #2. Is that correct?
I don't smoke or drink. Thank you!
