Tips for restoring Singer 28K early 19000s
Hey everybody,
I just bought this vintage Singer sewing machine at a flea market for 20€. The crank and everything still works, but I generally know next to nothing about these machines. I would like to restore it as a summer project and was wondering if any of you had tips or pointers for things to look out for/if anything critical is missing.
I like sewing, but have always used a modern electric Singer in the past, so I thought for the price today, it would be neat to try my hand at the old mechanical stuff too. Thanks for any help!
