Question for Lithuanians: remote work for a Lithuanian company as a Russian
Hi!🤠
I recently received a remote job offer from a company based in Lithuania and I’m considering accepting it.
I wanted to ask Lithuanians here how this is usually perceived in everyday life and work context.
If someone is Russian but works remotely for a Lithuanian company, how is that generally seen nowadays?
I understand the political situation is sensitive, and I fully respect that. I’m not asking about politics itself, more about everyday impressions and work related interactions like communication with colleagues, general attitude, and whether nationality tends to matter in practice even if everything is remote and professional.
From your perspective, is it mostly neutral, or can there still be some tension or bias in interactions?
I would really appreciate honest local opinions :3
