My son will nap for everyone except me
Anyone experience something similar? My son is about to turn 2, and he has never been a good sleeper (still usually multiple wake ups per night). I do every single bedtime put down, and that goes just fine. I do every single nighttime wakeup, and that goes fine. However, for the last three weeks, I CAN'T get him to fall asleep for a nap. He falls asleep just fine for the babysitter, or when my mom watches him (both at my house). He fights me for an hour plus and just won't do it anymore. I've always done 2 or maybe 3 naps a week with him, so it's not like I just started doing it.
My feelings are hurt, even though I know that's dumb. But it's really making me sad at this point. Has anyone experienced something similar? It's not a technique thing, so I'm not really asking for tips on how to get him down. I trained my babysitter and my mom on how to do it in the first place. I'm just sad after he fights me for so long, and I loved having little naps with him.
